Besides a timeline about the historic battle, you can also see some of the military hardware used: the F-86 Sabre fighter plane, the 156-mm howitzer, an amphibious landing vehicle, tracked (LVT) and a light tank, the M24 Chaffee.  Engraved on the walls of the entrance hall are the names of the 587 officers who lost their lives in the battle.

Mount Taiwu is situated at the center of Kinmen Island. Though it is only 253 meters high, it is the highest mountain in Kinmen. Mount Taiwu is an important place that commemorates Taiwan Strait Battle of August 23rd. Apart from climbing up to the top view point and hiking, the mountain is filled with cultural heritage such as Wu Wang Zai Ju and Haiin Temple, which are unique attractions in Kinmen.

Shanhou Folk Culture Village has the most complete range of traditional Minnan-style houses, built between 1876 and 1900. Also from that time, there's a school building and the Wang clan ancestral shrine.

Following the staircase down into Zhaishan Tunnel, you can't help but be in awe of this permanent testament to military engineering. Built to hide boats, construction started in 1961, and took 5 years to complete. An undeniably challenging task at the time!

In about 1640, the people walking in this area were soldiers. The famous Ming Dynasty commander Zheng Chenggong (also known as Koxinga), trained his men here, in preparation for his successful attack on the Dutch colonists in Tainan, expelling them from Taiwan.
The attractive red brick buildings you see now are thanks to a local businessmen association, which gathered funds in 1924 to build this one-of-a-kind (in Kinmen) set of shopfronts.

A trip to Kinmen simply isn't complete without at least a sip of Kaoliang liquor. Aromatic, sweet, spicy and brisk, it's distinctive.
Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor Inc., is a public enterprise whose sales help fund various local services, including school lunches for Kinmen children and bus passes for all local residents.

金門酒廠慶祝建廠70周年，首次開放『經武儲酒坑道』供旅人購票入內參觀，展覽活動以「窖藏「光」旅」為策展主軸，規劃5種導覽體驗，包含《開鑿儀式》、《高粱微旅》、《酒師匠心》、《窖藏傳承》、《KK Bar》等活動，搭配現場環境與金門高粱酒釀造工藝解說，打造全亞洲唯一的高粱酒沉浸體驗。

金門大橋為臺灣第一座深水域的跨海大橋，連接大金門與烈嶼鄉，大金門端位於金寧鄉慈湖路二段，烈嶼端位於湖埔路，總長為5.41公里，最大跨徑約200公尺，為金門最新地標。

金門大橋於2022年10月30日正式通車，來往烈嶼不再受船班時間限制，亦可省去等候及搭乘交通船的時間，為在地民眾及旅客帶來更便利的交通體驗。

橋塔造型
金門大橋共有五座主橋，橋塔造型是世界獨有高粱穗心形，此款造型是由金門縣民投票選出，金門大橋工程的主題名稱為「穗心傳語-風情再現」，透過金門大橋傳頌金門高粱酒的「香」、「醇」。

夜間燈光秀
金門大橋主橋每日夜間6-10點會播放景觀燈，景觀燈依照不同時間播放不同色彩，於大金門建功嶼、湖下、慈湖、同安渡頭，以及烈嶼的防雷區公園、麒麟山森林公園等地，皆能觀賞到大橋夜間燈光秀。

橋上景觀
行駛在金門大橋上，我們可以看見橋下周邊豐富的景觀，像是大金門、烈嶼的沿岸景緻，以及行經橋邊的船隻。幸運的話，在傍晚時更能欣賞到夕陽與晚霞，夜晚則可看見廈門斑斕的市區夜景。
